Other ways to pay
If you don't want to pay online why not use one of our other quick and easy methods of payment.
Using Direct Debit keeps costs down, which helps to keep the level of council tax as low as possible. Council tax, rent, national domestic rates (ND R) and invoice payments can be made by direct debit. Telephone payments can be made at any time by debit or credit card by calling 0845 234 0038 (American Express, Solo and Electron are not accepted). Telephone payments can be made for all other services during office hours by calling 01476 406080. Please ensure that you have your credit/debit card and your reference number to hand.
Posted payments are accepted by cheque or postal order. Please do not send cash through the post.

Please ensure your reference number is written on the reverse of the cheque. If you are paying for more than one service, please ensure you indicate how much you are paying for each.
Post Office and other places to make payments
You can also make payments at Post Offices and other locations such as shops and garage using a system called Allpay. You can pay for council tax, South Kesteven District Council invoices, overpaid housing benefit and rent. Post offices accept cash, cheque and debit cards. Stores with Epays and PayPoints will also accept cash.

In order to use Allpay you will need to have a swipe card issued to you by the council. If you require a card please call customer services on 01476 406080 or call in at one of our offices. The cards are provided in different colours to make payments for different account types. The council tax card is blue, housing benefit repayment is pink and the rent is yellow.
Invoices and litter fines are barcoded so just take them to any Post Office or PayPoint and the bar code will be scanned to identify your invoice.
You are not charged for paying at Post Offices or PayPoints.
Cash payments may not be taken at council offices.
