The Constitution is a written document which acts as part of our corporate governance framework which defines the systems and processes by which we lead, direct and control our functions and relate to our communities and partners.

The purpose of the Constitution is to set out how we conduct our business, how decisions are made and the procedures that are followed to ensure that these decisions are effective, efficient and transparent so that we remain accountable to you. Some of these procedures are required by law while others are a matter for the Council to determine. We exercise all our powers and duties in accordance with the law and our approved Constitution.
